We aim to influence educational policy and practice so that all students — regardless of cognitive or learning differences — have equal opportunities to succeed, participate, and thrive. This includes working directly with families of neurodivergent children to ensure they understand their legal rights and are connected with the resources needed to secure a quality education tailored to their child's needs.

Founded on Experience, Driven by Equity
The NeuroEquity Initiative was founded out of a deep, personal realization: too many neurodivergent children and students with learning disabilities are falling through the cracks of traditional education systems. The founder saw firsthand how families struggle to navigate complex special education processes, how schools often lack the resources or training to support diverse learners, and how policy gaps leave the most vulnerable students without the protections they deserve.
This realization led to the founding of the NeuroEquity Initiative, an organization dedicated to advancing educational equity by helping families of neurodivergent children understand their rights and access appropriate educational resources. What began as a response to an urgent need has grown into a comprehensive effort to reshape how education systems serve every learner.
Our fiscal sponsor is the 501(c)(3) nonprofit Institute for Education, Research, and Scholarships (IFERS).
All donations to the NeuroEquity Initiative are processed through IFERS and are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
